Petals 03:39
If you love it, set it free. Easy to see. I don't know my heart for you, harder to do. Do I want thee for a prize, covet thine eyes, as mirrors of my longing craze, see that it stays? Do I want you for no one else, claiming my health? Pretense is a virtue for he who'd hurt you. Do I whine to loose it in, what's boiling within, without question, without answer, a dancer? Do I want the tender clutch, so little, so much? The clearly hidden grail, the body screams, the cup of dreams? Drinking wine eternal feeling in a moment's kneeling. Remember, the temptation abhorred and Christ, the golden vice, to abstain from wine transformed from plain.

EZ 04:34
Easy always scores, but it doesn't always win. It might show one thing about the game we're in. Meet me on the tile floor, in a half a minute. I have a friend I see, every tenth time I try. He gets his kicks out of getting tried. The girl for him has got to have bars like a crib, and a mouth that gives, and a tongue that takes, and a whip to cut the flesh, and a knife to cut the steak, and he tells me, roses smell great, and all, but. Easy always scores, and it's always gonna score. I met the next big thing, she's still hanging around. She got a body that'll make you feel upside down. Her eyes Float around like smoke, and if you're a beast yourself she might split the yolk/yoke/lol. Easy always scores, Scoring always wins. But it don't feel like a game when they are vicious in the stands. I got a safe place around my neck For your hands- Easy always scores, and I like it's demands.

Wish I had the setting sun for all it's golden splendor- I'd drag it round by my little paw, all the world would watch in awe and all their hearts surrender... If I were yours to drag around, cried the setting sun- I'd stay dim as a coin of tin, for all I love to do is spin so don't you drag me under... I'll send a letter to the bank captain who towers over New England- and I'll send three to those who'll see the mark of famous destiny upon my application... Answer, answer, come what will I'm waiting for your call- to smite my rags and empty bags, and take up away from lazy hags and kiss my goldhaired fortune fate... I've always found my luck at hand but don't know from where to pluck it- Now, was it not a flowing stream that always brought the good things in? No, I think it was a bucket... Wish I had a pipe and bowl to hold against the days- I'd smoke away the darkening dusk, and dream about what surely must be coming soon my way... Wish I had the break to part the city like the sea- among the worse who I'll ever curse, dismiss, and maybe pinch their verse they will eventually reckon me... Wish I had the brilliance of all the jewels of time- money's dumb, it sucks its thumb, gets traded round and cared for none I will extort it with my rhyme... Now I see not who I speak to but could you take a word from me- don't pick upon the food of dreams, it will grow hard and you'll grow mean, and then away together fade to dust the both of ye...
